1. Introduction

Welcome to Ruam Khon Street Food ("Ruam Khon", "we", "our", or "us").

Ruam Khon is a community-driven street-food discovery platform designed to help users discover, share, and maintain information about local street-food stalls throughout Thailand. The application allows users to browse food stalls, save favorite locations, submit reviews, report inaccurate information, contribute new stalls, and participate in keeping community information up to date.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data responsibly in accordance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) ("PDPA") and other applicable laws.

This Privacy Policy explains:

• what information we collect;
• how we use it;
• when we share it;
• how long we keep it;
• your rights regarding your personal data; and
• how you can contact us regarding privacy matters.

By using Ruam Khon, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to:

• the Ruam Khon Street Food mobile application;
• our services provided through the application;
• communications initiated through our official support channels;
• and community content submitted by users.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to:

• third-party websites opened from the application;
• external navigation applications such as Google Maps or Apple Maps;
• LINE Official Account privacy practices;
• Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple privacy practices;
• Google AdMob advertising practices;
• or any third-party services that maintain their own privacy policies.

When you leave Ruam Khon or interact directly with a third-party service, that service's own Privacy Policy will apply.

5. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you use Ruam Khon.

5.1 Information You Provide

Depending on the features you use, you may voluntarily provide:

Account Information

When signing in using Google or Apple:

• display name;
• email address;
• account identifier provided by the authentication provider;
• Firebase user identifier (UID).

These identifiers are used to authenticate your account and associate your community contributions with your profile.

Stall Information

If you create or manage a stall listing, you may provide:

• stall name;
• description;
• food categories;
• menu items;
• operating days and hours;
• fixed or mobile operating status;
• stall location;
• cover image;
• optional public phone number;
• optional public LINE ID.

Phone numbers and LINE IDs are intended to be publicly displayed only when you choose to enable the corresponding visibility option.

Reviews

When submitting a review, you may provide:

• rating;
• review text;
• associated stall;
• submission time.

Reviews are publicly visible within the application.

Your display name may also be shown together with your review.

If your account is later deleted, reviews may be anonymized by replacing your display name with "Deleted User" while retaining the review content where permitted by applicable law and necessary to preserve community information.

Saved Stalls

If signed in, your saved stalls are associated with your account to allow synchronization across devices.

Guests may also save stalls locally on their device without creating an account.

Feedback

You may voluntarily submit:

• ratings;
• feedback category;
• comments;
• suggestions.

Feedback helps us improve Ruam Khon and is not publicly displayed.

Community Reports

You may report:

• inaccurate stall information;
• inappropriate reviews;
• inappropriate stall images;
• stalls that have moved;
• stalls that are no longer operating.

These reports help maintain the quality and reliability of community information.

Ownership-Abuse Disputes

If you submit an ownership-abuse dispute, we may collect:

• your account identifier;
• the affected stall identifier;
• dispute status;
• submission timestamp;
• the last four digits of a PromptPay number for verification purposes;
• the identifier of the allegedly fraudulent owner (if applicable).

Supporting documents or photographs are not uploaded directly through the application. They may instead be voluntarily provided through our official LINE support channel during the dispute review process.

Ruam Khon does not process PromptPay payments and does not collect complete PromptPay account numbers for payment purposes.

5.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use Ruam Khon, certain technical information is collected automatically.

This may include:

• device type;
• operating system version;
• application version;
• language preference;
• authentication status;
• diagnostic information required for service operation;
• security-related metadata.

Ruam Khon uses Firebase Analytics to measure aggregate app usage, including screen visits, search terms, search filters, result counts, language, device/app information, and ad surface context. Analytics events do not include precise GPS coordinates, email addresses, phone numbers, or exact stall contact details.

5.3 Location Information

Ruam Khon requests access to your device's location only while the application is actively in use.

Location information may be used to:

• show nearby street-food stalls;
• calculate the approximate distance between you and a stall;
• verify that reviews or "Still Here" confirmations originate from users who are physically near the stall;
• assist users when creating or relocating a stall.

Location permission is optional.

If you choose not to grant location permission:

• you can continue browsing the application;
• nearby verification features may not be available;
• the application may use a default map location instead.

Ruam Khon does not intentionally maintain a continuous server-side history of your movements or background location.

5.4 Camera and Photos

With your permission, Ruam Khon may access your device camera or photo library so that you can:

• upload stall cover images;
• replace or update existing stall images.

Uploaded images may become publicly visible if they are associated with a published stall listing.

Scout-submitted stall images may be reviewed using automated image moderation technologies to help identify inappropriate content before publication.

5.5 Information from Third-Party Sign-In Providers

When you sign in using Google or Apple, we receive limited profile information necessary to authenticate your account.

We do not receive your password for these services.

Your authentication credentials remain managed by the respective authentication provider.

6. How We Use Your Information

We process personal information only for legitimate service-related purposes, including:

• providing and operating Ruam Khon;
• authenticating user accounts;
• displaying community-generated content;
• maintaining accurate stall information;
• synchronizing saved stalls across devices;
• verifying proximity for community trust features;
• responding to support requests;
• investigating reports and abuse;
• enforcing our Terms of Service;
• preventing fraud and misuse;
• protecting the security of the platform;
• complying with legal obligations; and
• improving the reliability and safety of the service.

Where processing is based on your consent (such as optional device permissions), you may withdraw that consent through your device settings. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing that occurred before the withdrawal or processing carried out under another lawful basis permitted by applicable law.

7. Public Information and Community Content

Ruam Khon is a community-driven platform. Some information submitted by users is intended to be publicly visible to help others discover and verify street-food stalls.

Publicly visible information may include:

• Stall name
• Stall description
• Food categories
• Menu information
• Operating hours
• Stall location
• Stall cover image
• Whether the stall is fixed or mobile
• Public phone number (only if the owner enables public visibility)
• Public LINE ID (only if the owner enables public visibility)
• Ratings
• Review text
• Review display name
• Community trust status (for example, recently confirmed or needs confirmation)

Before submitting public content, please ensure you do not include unnecessary personal information about yourself or others.

Ruam Khon reserves the right to edit, redact, hide, or remove content that:

• violates applicable laws;
• infringes another person's rights;
• contains unnecessary personal information;
• contains defamatory, abusive, or misleading statements;
• promotes illegal activities;
• or otherwise violates our Terms of Service.

8. Community Trust and Verification

Ruam Khon includes community trust features designed to improve the accuracy of stall information.

These features may include:

• "Still Here" confirmations
• Nearby review verification
• Stall movement reports
• Inactive stall reports
• Community moderation reports

To reduce fraudulent activity, Ruam Khon may record limited verification metadata such as:

• approximate verification distance;
• verification timestamp;
• verification status;
• trust-related indicators.

We do not intentionally maintain a continuous history of your movements.

Verification metadata is used solely to improve platform integrity and reduce abuse.

9. Third-Party Services

Ruam Khon relies on carefully selected third-party service providers to operate the application.

These providers process information only for purposes related to providing their services.

Current providers include:

Google Firebase

Used for:

• user authentication;
• cloud database;
• cloud storage;
• cloud functions;
• remote configuration.

Firebase may process personal information necessary to provide these services.

Google Sign-In

Used for optional account authentication.

When you choose Google Sign-In, Google processes authentication information under Google's own Privacy Policy.

Sign in with Apple

Used for optional account authentication on Apple devices.

Apple processes authentication information under Apple's own Privacy Policy.

Mapbox

Used for:

• interactive maps;
• map rendering;
• location display.

Mapbox may process certain diagnostic information and SDK telemetry according to its own privacy practices.

Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)

Ruam Khon displays advertising using Google AdMob.

Google may automatically collect certain information necessary to provide advertising services, including:

• device identifiers;
• IP address;
• approximate location derived from network information;
• advertising identifiers;
• diagnostic information;
• advertising interactions.

Ruam Khon does not control how Google processes information collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK.

Where required by applicable law or platform requirements, Ruam Khon will request advertising-related consent before requesting personalized advertisements.

Google Cloud Vision

Scout-submitted stall images may be analyzed using Google Cloud Vision to assist with automated moderation.

Automated analysis may detect:

• adult content;
• violent content;
• racy content;
• faces;
• other image safety indicators.

Images that fail automated safety checks may be hidden pending administrator review.

LINE Official Account

Ruam Khon uses an official LINE account for:

• user support;
• ownership-abuse disputes;
• administrative communication.

If you voluntarily communicate with us through LINE, your information is also processed according to LINE's own Privacy Policy.

External Navigation Applications

When you choose to navigate to a stall, Ruam Khon may open:

• Google Maps;
• Apple Maps;
• or another navigation application installed on your device.

These applications operate independently of Ruam Khon.

10. Advertising

Ruam Khon currently displays advertisements to support the operation of the service.

Advertising may be delivered through Google AdMob.

Advertisements may be:

• contextual;
• non-personalized;
• or personalized where permitted by law and where appropriate consent has been obtained.

If advertisements cannot be displayed, Ruam Khon may instead display internal community content or promotional information.

Ruam Khon does not sell user accounts or personal information to advertisers.

11. How We Share Information

Ruam Khon does not sell your personal information.

We may share limited information only in the following circumstances:

Service Providers

To operate the platform using trusted service providers including:

• Google Firebase;
• Google Cloud;
• Google AdMob;
• Google Cloud Vision;
• Mapbox;
• Apple;
• Google;
• LINE.

Public Community Features

Information you intentionally publish may be visible to other users.

Examples include:

• stall listings;
• public reviews;
• public stall images;
• public contact information that you choose to display.

Legal Obligations

We may disclose information where required by:

• applicable law;
• lawful court order;
• government authority;
• regulatory investigation;
• law enforcement request.

Protection of Rights

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

• investigate fraud;
• protect users;
• enforce our Terms;
• defend legal claims;
• maintain platform integrity.

12. Cross-Border Processing

Ruam Khon uses cloud-based service providers that may process personal information outside Thailand.

These providers include services operated by Google and other technology partners.

For example, Firebase infrastructure used by Ruam Khon may process data within Southeast Asia or other regions depending on service configuration and operational requirements.

Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are implemented by our service providers.

13. Automated Moderation

To help maintain a safe and trustworthy community, Ruam Khon uses a combination of automated systems and human review.

Automated systems may:

• detect inappropriate images;
• detect prohibited words;
• temporarily hide reported content;
• identify repeated policy violations.

These automated checks assist administrators but do not replace human oversight in appropriate circumstances.

Users may contact us if they believe content was incorrectly moderated or enforcement action was taken in error.

14. Data Security

Ruam Khon implements reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

These measures include, where appropriate:

• encrypted communications;
• authenticated user access;
• role-based administrator permissions;
• audit logging for administrative actions;
• cloud security controls provided by trusted infrastructure providers;
• data minimization practices;
• retention controls.

Although we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect platform integrity, and enforce our Terms of Service.

Our current retention practices include:

16. Account Deletion

Signed-in users may request deletion of their account through the application.

When an account deletion request is successfully completed, we will make reasonable efforts to:

• delete your authentication account;
• remove or anonymize personal profile information where appropriate;
• delete saved stalls associated with your account;
• remove account-linked preferences where technically feasible.

Certain information may remain after account deletion where permitted or required by law, including:

• anonymized reviews;
• moderation records;
• fraud prevention records;
• legal dispute records;
• information necessary to comply with legal obligations.

Some information may also remain temporarily within encrypted backups until those backups are automatically overwritten according to our backup retention schedule.

Deleting your account does not necessarily remove content that has already been anonymized or retained for lawful operational purposes.

17. Your Rights Under Thailand PDPA

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

• request access to your personal data;
• request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
• request deletion of personal data where applicable;
• request restriction of certain processing activities;
• object to certain processing activities;
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
• request data portability where legally applicable;
• lodge a complaint with the appropriate supervisory authority if you believe your rights have been violated.

Before responding to certain requests, we may ask you to verify your identity to protect your personal information.

Some requests may be limited where we are legally required or permitted to retain certain information.

18. Children's Privacy

Ruam Khon is not designed or marketed specifically for young children.

Browsing public stall information generally does not require an account.

Certain community features that publish public content or create business-related records require additional responsibility from users.

These features include, but are not limited to:

• submitting reviews;
• creating community stall submissions;
• registering or managing stalls;
• submitting ownership-abuse disputes.

By using these features, you confirm that you satisfy any applicable age or legal capacity requirements under the laws that apply to you.

If you are under the age required by applicable law to provide consent independently, you should obtain permission from your parent or legal guardian before using these features.

If we become aware that personal information has been collected in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to remove or restrict that information.

19. Security

Protecting user information is important to us.

Ruam Khon uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.

These safeguards include, where appropriate:

• encrypted communications;
• authenticated access controls;
• role-based administrative permissions;
• audit logging;
• cloud infrastructure security;
• data minimization practices;
• regular application updates;
• retention and deletion controls.

However, no electronic system can guarantee complete security.

Users are also responsible for protecting the security of their own devices and authentication credentials.

20. International Data Processing

Ruam Khon uses third-party cloud infrastructure and technology providers that may process information outside Thailand.

These providers include services supplied by Google, Mapbox, Apple, LINE, and other technology partners.

We take reasonable steps to work with providers that implement appropriate security measures designed to protect personal information during international processing.

21. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to:

• improve clarity;
• reflect changes to the application;
• comply with legal requirements;
• introduce new features;
• improve security.

When material changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date.

Where required by law, we will notify users or request renewed consent before changes become effective.

Continued use of Ruam Khon after the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance of the revised policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
