Ruam Khon is developed by Ekachai Wongsiri. This public deletion pathway works without the app being installed.

Never email us your password, Apple password, Google password, or verification codes. We may ask you to verify account ownership through a secure sign-in or reply process.

Delete in the app

  1. Sign in to your Ruam Khon account.
  2. Open your profile or account settings.
  3. Select Delete Account.
  4. Review the effects and confirm.
  5. Complete recent authentication if Google or Apple requests it.

If you cannot access the app

Email privacy@ruamkhon.com from the address associated with your account where possible. Include the account email and whether you signed in with Google or Apple. Do not include passwords or one-time codes.

We may request additional verification before processing the request. Most deletion begins immediately after successful verification; some cleanup follows the retention schedule below.

1. Purpose

This Account Deletion Policy explains how users of Ruam Khon Street Food may permanently delete their account, what information is deleted, what information may be retained, and the reasons certain information may continue to exist after an account has been removed.

This policy applies to all registered Ruam Khon users who authenticate using supported sign-in providers, including:

Guest users who browse the application without creating an account are not subject to most sections of this policy because their information is generally stored only on their own device.

4. Who Can Request Account Deletion

Only the owner of an authenticated Ruam Khon account may request deletion of that account.

To protect users from unauthorized deletion requests, you may be required to complete identity verification or recent re-authentication as required by your authentication provider before your account can be permanently deleted.

5. Ways to Request Account Deletion

Ruam Khon provides more than one method for requesting account deletion.

5.1 In-App Account Deletion

Authenticated users may request deletion directly within the application.

Typical steps include:

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. Open your account settings or profile page.
  3. Select Delete Account.
  4. Review the information describing the effects of deletion.
  5. Confirm your decision.

Depending on your authentication provider, you may be asked to sign in again before deletion can proceed.

5.2 Web-Based Account Deletion Request

Google Play requires developers to provide a publicly accessible account deletion method outside the application.

A web-based deletion request page will be available at:

This page may be used by users who no longer have access to the application or who prefer to submit a deletion request through a web browser.

5.3 Support Assistance

If you cannot access your account or experience difficulties completing the deletion process, you may contact us using the contact information provided at the end of this policy.

Additional verification may be required before we process a deletion request.

6. Before You Delete Your Account

Deleting your account is generally permanent.

Before submitting a deletion request, you should understand that:

  • You will lose access to authenticated features.
  • Saved stalls associated with your account will be removed.
  • Your profile information will no longer be available.
  • Some publicly contributed content may remain after being anonymized.
  • Certain information may be retained where required by law, for fraud prevention, security purposes, or to protect the integrity of the community.

If you later decide to use Ruam Khon again, a new account will normally be required.

Deleted accounts cannot usually be restored.

When your deletion request is successfully completed, Ruam Khon begins a series of automated cleanup processes.

Depending on the type of information involved, these processes may include:

  • Deleting your authentication account.
  • Removing your user profile.
  • Deleting synchronized saved stalls.
  • Removing uploaded stall images where appropriate.

  • Removing selected personal identifiers from community records.

Some cleanup activities occur immediately, while others are performed automatically by scheduled maintenance processes.

Certain records may be retained for legal, operational, fraud prevention, moderation, or security purposes as described later in this policy.

8. Authentication Provider Requirements

Ruam Khon uses third-party authentication providers to manage user identities.

Depending on your authentication provider, account deletion may require recent authentication before the provider permits permanent deletion.

Examples include:

  • Signing in again using your Google account.
  • Re-authenticating with Sign in with Apple.

If this verification is required, the application will notify you before deletion can continue.

This requirement is imposed by the authentication provider to help prevent unauthorized deletion of user accounts.

9. Deletion Processing Time

Most account deletion operations begin immediately after a successful deletion request.

However, some related cleanup activities may occur later through scheduled maintenance processes or background services.

Examples include:

  • Removal of certain retained identifiers.

Where additional processing time is required, Ruam Khon aims to complete the remaining cleanup within a reasonable period consistent with operational requirements and applicable law.

10. What Happens to Your Data

When your account deletion request has been successfully processed, different categories of information are handled in different ways depending on their purpose.

Some information is permanently deleted.

Some information is anonymized to preserve community contributions while removing your identity.

Certain information may be retained for legal obligations, fraud prevention, security, or operational purposes.

13. Information That May Remain After Deletion

Deleting your account does not necessarily remove every historical record associated with your use of Ruam Khon.

  • Fraud prevention records.
  • Security-related records.
  • Operational logs maintained by cloud service providers.

Where information is retained, Ruam Khon seeks to minimize the amount of personal information that remains and retain it only for legitimate purposes.

14. Third-Party Services

Deleting your Ruam Khon account does not automatically delete information maintained by third-party service providers where they process information independently.

Firebase Authentication

Your authentication account is deleted as part of the account deletion process.

Google Sign-In

Your Google account remains active.

Deleting your Ruam Khon account does not delete your Google account or information stored by Google.

Sign in with Apple

Deleting your Ruam Khon account does not delete your Apple ID.

Authentication credentials remain managed by Apple.

Google AdMob

Google Mobile Ads may continue processing information according to Google's own privacy practices, retention policies, and any privacy choices you have made.

Advertising-related information is controlled by Google rather than by Ruam Khon.

Mapbox

Mapbox may process map usage information and telemetry according to its own privacy policy.

Deleting your Ruam Khon account does not automatically remove telemetry previously processed by Mapbox.

Users may be able to manage certain telemetry preferences through Mapbox or device settings where supported.

Google Cloud Vision

Images submitted for moderation may already have been processed before account deletion.

Any retained moderation results are handled according to the application's retention practices.

15. Exceptions

In limited circumstances, Ruam Khon may retain certain information after an account has been deleted.

Examples include:

  • Compliance with applicable laws or legal obligations.
  • Fraud prevention.
  • Security investigations.
  • Abuse prevention.
  • Resolution of disputes.

16. If Account Deletion Cannot Be Completed

Those providers manage their own accounts and privacy practices according to their respective policies.

24. Good Practices Before Deleting Your Account
